Welcome everyone to Winnersmentality Youth Basketball Academy!!! This is a program for kids who want to take their game to the next level and grow as a student athlete! We train, guide, and mentor our youth to prepare them for that next level of competition and in life.
Winnersmentality Youth Basketball Academy is committed to fostering the development of young athletes both on and off the court. Our primary objective is to ensure that every student athlete receives tailored and precise training, instilling in them a deep sense of confidence in their abilities. We strongly believe in nurturing not only skilled basketball players, but also future leaders. Our personalized approach includes offering one-on-one training sessions as well as group training programs, recognizing and respecting the unique strengths and learning styles of each individual. Emphasizing the significance of mastering the fundamentals, we aim to bolster the confidence of our athletes, enhance their individual skills, and provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the game. Through our holistic approach, we strive to empower our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel both on and off the court, preparing them for success in basketball and in life!
Our COaches
Born and raised from the town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Coach Dee embarked on a journey shaped by dedication and service. He spent his formative years at Bishop England High School, where he not only excelled academically but also discovered the love for basketball, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.
After studying Business Management for a year at South Carolina State University, he made a significant commitment to serve his country by joining the United States Army. Over eight years of service, he perfected his discipline, leadership, and resilience, serving in various roles that challenged and shaped his character.
After his military service, he found a new passion in coaching young athletes in basketball. Drawing from his own experiences and training, he dedicated himself to nurturing their skills and fostering a love for the game. Through coaching, he strives to instill not just technical proficiency but also values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. His journey from Bishop England to military service and now coaching has shaped him into a dedicated individual committed to continuous growth and service to others.
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Coach Treasure developed a passion for basketball early on. She honed her skills at Northwest Christian High School, where she played varsity basketball, laying the foundation for her athletic career. After high school, she pursued her dream further at Wenatchee Valley College, where she dedicated two years to playing collegiate basketball, refining her game and gaining valuable experience.
Seeking new challenges and opportunities, she transferred to Corban University to complete her college education and continue her basketball journey. At Corban, she embraced the competitive spirit of collegiate athletics, contributing to the team’s success while balancing academic pursuits.
Off the court, she is known for her dedication, teamwork, and resilience, traits that she continues to carry forward into her career and personal life. Treasure is currently in her last year of Physical Therapy school at The Medical University of South Carolina. Whether on the hardwood or in everyday challenges, she strives to bring the same passion and commitment that defined her entire journey!
