Welcome everyone to #Winnersmentality Youth Basketball Academy!!! This is a program for kids who wants to take their game to the next level and grow as a student athlete! We train, guide, and mentor our youth to prepare them for that next level of competition.

#Winnersmentality Youth Basketball Academy is an organization based out of Mount Pleasant, SC. Our goal is to make sure every student athlete is trained precisely and is confident about their game. We don’t only build student athletes but also leaders! We offer one-on-one training as well as group training. Everyone is different in their own unique way, so they will be trained as such. We also do a lot of open runs here in the Mount Pleasant area for the youth. This helps them gain confidence and compete with different kids from different parts of the city. Feel free to come join the fun!

This program is led by Coach Dominique Turner. Coach Dee was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was a Laing Brave and graduated from Bishop England H.S. in 2008. After studying Business Management for a year at South Carolina State University, he joined the US Army where he served his country for eight years. Since returning from Germany in 2017, he has been volunteering his free time coaching and mentoring kids in the Mt. Pleasant community. Coach Dee just finished his 7th year coaching basketball at Moultrie Middle School, where he led his first ever girls team to the championship! He is a certified Gold Coach Licensed through USA Basketball. Coach Dee is an avid lover of the game of basketball with Duke University being his favorite basketball team and program since the time he was born. Nothing makes him happier then to see these kids playing the game, growing in their skills, and developing a love for the game.
